WORK
Trust the Process!
The Client Brief- Clients will be walked through a thorough design brief in the beginning of the process. The brief acts as a reference point for both the client and designer, making sure everybody is on the same page.
Research…and Research Again!- Research is needed to analyze the client's target audience, or demographics – the age, gender, income, employment, location and lifestyle of the people they wants to reach. Knowing the client’s audience is key to ensuring the right message is communicated.
Concept Development- After researching the brief, the client, the industry, and the audience, the drafts and concepts are developed a bit further. At this stage, 3-5 different concepts are presented to the client to choose from. (number can fluctuate depending on the project's needs)
Revision- After the client chooses one concept, it is time to revise the design so it meets the goals and outlines. The client is allowed to mix and match from all concepts that have been presented, or come up with something entirely new. From the client’s suggestions, a second round of designs will be presented.
Completion- Almost there! By this time, the client is loving it, apart from maybe some minor tweaks here and there. Once these are completed there is only one last step...Get approval! Final files are sent – the project is complete!
